Organizational Climate Survey
A questionnaire utilizing a Likert Scale to anonymously assess how employees feel about the various practices and processes that create a working environment. These include leadership, supervision, training, internal communications, ethical/values issues, gender issues, and racial issues. This survey can be customized to suit the agency's needs and is a great way to gather baseline data if you are a newly hired/promoted chief. The agency will receive a breakdown of answers and a summary report of the findings.
Team-Building and Strategic Planning Training
A one-day course utilizing the DISC self-assessment instrument to assess personal styles in the areas of planning, time management, communication, delegation, and team-building. The teams that are formed during the morning session will work through a strategic planning process in the afternoon addressing current issues of concern in the organization.
Management Study
A team of organizational experts will conduct an on-site review of all areas of the organization through employee and management interviews, policy review, and document reviews in the internal affairs, operational and training areas, as well as a review of past and pending litigation. A comprehensive report will be produced that highlights the agency's strengths and provides recommendations for areas of concern. This document can be used to develop a strategic plan by the agency.
